{Best Way} Run Google Play Store on Bluestacks (Android Market) Android App Player for PC

Hey Friends

Thank you for coming here. To make this article even more understandable, I've created a video describing 2 ways to run Google Play Store on BlueStacks, including the best one, check that out at:

Please visit the above link, to like & Subscribe on YouTube, if you liked it. :) The embedded video:

I hope you like it.

So have you been using Bluestacks Android App Player for PC. Well I tell you, it's a great software. It allows you to run any Android Apps on your PC.

Today I'm gonna give you a method to access Google Play Store (formerly known as Android Market), on Bluestacks Android App Player for PC, so that we can easily have access to Android Apps on Bluestacks.

Here's a screenshot of Play Store running on Bluestacks for Pc:

WHY GOOGLE PLAY STORE IN BLUESTACKS?

Okay, we know Bluestacks is a superb Software that let's you run Android Apps on PC.

But now the question arises, where to get these apps from?

The answer to this question can be, various Google Play Store/Android Market Alternatives, as I don't know why, but Google Play Store isn't directly accessible in Bluestacks.

Another reply to the question asked, can be Downloading apps using Bluestacks' "Top Charts" Section, or through "App Search", but I don't know why, "App Search" isn't working for me. Maybe, because Bluestacks is in its Beta Stage.

But you know, Official is Official, Google Play Store ( Android Market), is the best place to get Android Apps & there are many people who don't trust Apps downloaded from any other Source.

That is why, Google Play Store is utter in Bluestacks for Android.

OR You could find your own reason to why you need Google Play Store. :P

PRE-REQUISITES

So as a pre-requirement, we'll need Bluestacks. Here's a post of mine that gives a review about Bluestacks:

LET'S GET IT ON BLUESTACKS

Well now is the time to show you the method to use Google Play Store (Android Market) on Bluestacks Android  App Player for PC.

Why I call it, the best way, because this one will not make you download any Android App, to start using Google Play Store on Bluestacks, except in Method 3, mentioned below, but that is also optional, you can use Method 1 or 2 too.
So here's the way:

1. First, we'll need to launch a Web Browser App in Bluestacks, preferably the in-built Android Browser, but OH! it is also not directly accessible. But wait, We can still access it.

There are many methods to do it. I'm mentioning three of them, you can choose to use any:

METHOD 1. Just click on "Help" in "My Apps" Section in Bluestacks. You then, will have the in-built Android Browser running a URL, for Bluestacks Help Website.

METHOD 2. You'll need an app like "Twitter", or any other app that let's you post updates. Maybe, Twitter is already installed in Bluestacks (I don't remember!). OR Maybe, you can get that from Top-charts Section.

In that app, Post a URL, preferably, "https://play.google.com/" .

Then when you click on that post's URL, it might ask you to run Browser, or maybe, straight away "Google Play Store".

Open the browser, if it doesn't let opening Google Play Store.

METHOD 3. I don't know if any other Browser than in-built default Android Browser would work or not, but you can definitely give it a try. So if you can install a Web Browser app like "Dolphin Web Browser" on Bluestacks, before running Google Play Store, give it a shot too.

2. Now that we've opened the Browser (preferably in-built Android Browser), we need to go-to "play.google.com". Just Type that (play.google.com) in the Browser's Navigation Bar & press Enter.

3. Then, you'll be asked to open "Browser" or "Play Store", choose Google Play Store.

These are probably the Options you'll get, choose Play Store:

Then, simply input your Google Account or Make a new one, according to your wish, when prompted & that's it, after some time you'll be able to use Google Play Store (Android Market) on Bluestack Android App Player for PC.

There, you'll be able to search for Apps, or even Navigate & Browser the most popular apps, according to your wish.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE, A GENERAL ISSUE SOLVED

It is strongly recommended not to put "pressure" on this Play Store, as Bluestacks is in Beta version. The "pressure" includes:

1. Downloading multiple apps simultaneously,
2. Browsing through Android App while downloading other apps,
3. Not waiting for about a minute for an app to actually start downloading,
etc.

Actually I encountered a unique Problem, that's why I am/was giving you a Heads up. The thing is that an app of mine was auto-updating (I didn't know about it), & then simultaneously I started downloading another Android App.

Then both of my apps were being shown to be downloading, but nothing was actually happening, the progress bar wasn't at all going ahead, even after I waited for a minute.

Then I Stopped the download of Both the Apps, by clicking on the "Options Button" & going to "My Apps" Section in Play Store & Quit Bluestacks.

Then I turned Bluestacks on again, opened Play Store Stopped the auto-update of the app, that was updating ("My Apps" Sections after "Options Button" in Play Store).

Then I browsed for an Android App & Started its download. It showed 4 KB Download, in the first 5 seconds & another 4 KB in next 5, upto about 40 seconds & then it started downloading with full speed & quickly finished the download.

Note: 1.  As I said, sometimes some apps of yours or even Google Play Store might be auto-updating, at that time, downloading may stuck at starting only.

So be patient & let Google Play Store update first & if any other apps are updating, check it, by pressing the "Options" Button & Tapping/Clicking on "My Apps" & Stop their Updating Process.

2. Sometimes, some apps (not all!) may not be visible in your "My Apps" Section in Bluestacks, although they might already have been downloaded.

For them, you can visit Android Market & find that app again & if it has already been successfully downloaded, an "Open" option, will be available, just use that, to open the app.

So Be Careful & Patient while using this Play Store.

    1. Hi!

      This is a strange error.

I think you should try to use a unique Google Account for bluestacks, not associated with any other Android Phone's.

I hope this helps & you get the issue resolved!

    2. Hi Again

I've tried to look through your issue. It may be because of improper installation of Bluestacks, but as a final resort, before following the long process of re-installing Bluestacks. Try running Google Play Store with another method:

View/Open all apps in Bluestacks- ES Explorer (PC)

This will allow you to run any Android App, including Google Play Store. If it works you won't need to re-installing Bluestacks. Otherwise- Removing & Properly installing Bluestacks might be the only option. To see the method to install the latest Bluestacks 0.8 PROPERLY, see the following post:

Properly Install Bluestacks Version 0.8 on PC

I hope your menace gets resolved, now.

    1. Hi!!

First of all, Thank you so much for appreciation & suggestions and You're welcome :)

I'm not sure, but I think I will look upon Bluestacks again and try to get solutions for the issues you mentioned (although I can't assure you that!).

But here's my advice on solutions to problems you mentioned:

      1. I understand Bluestacks hanging problem. To that, I haven't been able to find a solution, other than re-installing it PROPERLY. It's kinda long procedure, but it's the only one I know so far. Other than that, you can try to deal with Bluestacks, thinking of it as a delicate software and take precautions so that it doesn't hang often. Here's the blog post URL, that explains how to PROPERLY INSTALL Bluestacks:

      http://merryquest.blogspot.com/2014/03/properly-install-bluestacks-version-08.html
(Follow the steps under "FOR USERS WITH PREVIOUS VERSION" in that post).

Also, I think, regarding Bluestacks, this post might be helpful for you:

      http://merryquest.blogspot.com/2014/03/backup-bluestacks-online-installer-as.html

      2. To play videos, I'm not sure if it'll work or not, but try installing MX Player or Mobo Player like Video Player, the one which offers Video Playing codecs along with the App, so that Bluestacks may run videos.

I hope you get your problems resolved with above measures!

    1. Hi!

I think most likely, Google Play Store Package, hasn't yet installed on your Bluestacks. But still, follow the following procedure, first up, to confirm:

      1. Download the ES File Explorer apk, from its official website "www.estrongs.com". After downloading simply double-click the apk file to install it on your Bluestacks Android App Player for PC.

      2. Next, use the process given in the post:

      http://merryquest.blogspot.com/2014/01/viewopen-all-apps-in-bluestacks-es.html

Now, you should be able to see any Android App, installed on your Bluestacks. If there's an option, move to System Apps and check if Play Store shows up.

If it displays, you can run Play Store from that only or else, Report Back here, with the issue.

      I hope this works!

  9. good day buddy.. i just downloaded and installed es file xplore apk.. but still no play store.. what can i do next???

i need to install the google play store so that i can play Clash of clans

i did download the coc in 1 mobile app.. but shows "Parse Error" :/

    1. Hi Pal!

I downloaded Clash of Clans from Google play Store & it worked well. So I'd say our only issue is getting Google Play Store to work for you. I CANNOT SHARE THE APK FILE, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE WHETHER SHARING IT IS LEGAL OR NOT.

So here's the deal, after one installs Bluestacks and runs it for the first time, I think a few files are downloaded, which are Google's framework & has apps like Google Play Store & Google Play Services. One can only see them download in the notification area.

For you they might not have downloaded, so what you need to do now is PROPERLY Re-download & Reinstall Bluestacks & use the process given in the following post, to do so:

      http://merryquest.blogspot.com/2014/03/properly-install-bluestacks-version-08.html

After downloading Bluestacks, run it for the first time, with internet on & allow it some time to download the Framework files, it'll automatically do it, just leave the computer idle for some time (with Bluestacks ON), depending upon you Internet Speed, I think it will work!

I hope this method works for you, AS BLUESTACKS IS STILL IN BETA, IT HAS BUGS LIKE THIS & ONE IS NEVER SURE WHETHER IT WILL DOWNLOAD THE FRAMEWORK FILES OR NOT. So my fingers are crossed!

  11. Nova Launcher will allow you to create shortcuts to all google apps that are for whatever reason hidden in the default GamePop launcher. Just search for Nova launcher in the search area of the Gamepop Launcher, install and open from the Play Store. After that press the home button and select to make Nova your default launcher, now just long press the home screen, select apps, and choose the Play Store or any other app hidden in the GamePop launcher.

I assume other launchers like EZLauncher, Launcher EX, etc. are capable of the same, but i cannot testify from personal experience.

    1. Hi!

You are welcome and thank you too for appreciation.

Okay, so from what you're saying, it's almost clear that your BlueStacks has got corrupt (lol, not a big breakthrough huh! :P ). To rectify those kinda issues, Re-installation usually works well. But you said that you already tried that, but still to confirm: you followed the steps, as mentioned in this post right? :

      http://merryquest.blogspot.com/2014/03/properly-install-bluestacks-version-08.html

Also, I'd say you don't backup BlueStacks (the without re-downloading method) and then re-install.

    1. Hi!

The most probable cause to your issue would be that the app is too big to be able to run on BlueStacks, which is one of the reasons why BlueStacks still in beta.

That's why I check apps' working on BlueStacks and separately add their post to tell others about it. So, it's probably a BlueStacks issue, not much related to Google Play Store. I'm sorry, but with the current information of your problem, I don't think that game is playable on BlueStacks.

  16. Hi !

I need some help with my bluestacks. For some reason my bluestacks isn't connecting to my google account. It doesn't open google play or gmail apps either. There is an app sync in "my apps" from where you need to connect your gmail account, but for me it keeps loading and after some time it crashes and says please re-enter your password after which it loads for some time and it crashes. I even logged in my google account on opera or the inbuilt browser as you mentioned, but it still hasn't connected or synced my gmail account. I tried adding my gmail account from 'settings>accounts and sync', but it just adds it as a normal email account and not sync it.
Sorry if i wasnt able to elaborate my problem, but my main issue is not being able to connect/sync my google account with bluestacks.

    2. Hi Abhilash!

I understand that your issue is quite frustrating. For a solution, I'd reckon, you install ES File Explorer App, by the downloading the apk provided on its official website:

      http://www.estrongs.com/

Then run the downloaded file, Bluestacks should detect and install the app for you. After that see the following post:

      http://merryquest.blogspot.com/2014/01/viewopen-all-apps-in-bluestacks-es.html

It has steps to open any app, which includes Google Apps too. Maybe by that, you'll be able to open your required app, like Play Store.

      I hope it works!

    4. :O That's strange!

I'd like you to tell me, did you completely (properly) uninstalled BlueStacks, while trying different versions, like steps to remove the registry too?

      Delete
    5. Yes, i removed it from the registry too when uninstalling it. One thing i noticed is whenever i give the wrong password while trying to sync my google account its giving "wrong email or password" error, but when i give the correct password it just says "logging in" and crashes after 40-50 seconds. Its so annoying lol, and thank you for looking into this issue and helping me :)

    6. Well that's become even weirder, I know these small glitches tease. Since the problem can't be accessed physically & this issue has not been encountered by me so far, I think now, the best solution, for your issue would be the use of Play Store alternatives. So many of them are available, like Getjar, (not Amazon for non-US people), Slideme, Opera Store and some more!

Why don't you give some of them a shot. I'll also give a try after some time & maybe even put a post about that. BEST WISHES!!!
