Today I'll be delighted to show you a method to download & install Whatsapp, the popular Social Networking App on Bluestacks for PC, This well help you install Full version of Whatsapp.
For installing & using Whatsapp for PC, you may not need a Smart Phone, just a working mobile number would be OK.
You can use Whatsapp, by manually adding contacts to Bluestacks. But for importing contacts from Phone to your PC, .vcf format, you may need a good phone.
This method will be useful even for those, who can't access internet from their Smart Phones, but their PC has an internet connection.
PRE-REQUISITES
The Pre-requirement will be:
Bluestacks will help you run Android Apps on your Windows/Mac PC & Whatsapp is also run-able on it.

THE APP
As you would have already know about it. It is a very popular & Highly Rated app, which lets you chat with your friends, having Whatsapp on their Smart Phones or Tablets. They use very Strong & Powerful Servers which makes their chats very quick even with slow internet connection.
You can also share files, like videos, pictures or Audios with your friends, upto a certain size limit.
In this app, your mobile number is your id & your contacts list gives the list of friends that you have.
Earlier/Currently this app was only available for Smart Phones/Tablets, but not anymore, we will use the power of Bluestacks to run Whatsapp on our PC only.

RUNNING THE APP
After Installing the app, in bluestacks, run it. Follow the instructions that come.
To verify your mobile number, you can use any working mobile number that you have. Even the simple one, that is not a Smart Phone would work.
After that, you'll have successfully run Whatsapp for PC.

So to download Whatsapp on Bluestacks Android App Player for PC, you'll need a method to run Google Play Store/Android Market on Bluestacks. Here's a post, of mine, that explains the way to do it, without downloading anything:
Now, in Android Market / Play Store, Search for "Whatsapp", then download & Install it.
You'll get Whatsapp in "My Apps" section of Bluestacks.
