So Today I'd like to show you the best method to add subtitles to add & make subtitles to any video you want.

We'll make use of the software, subtitle workshop, which is just the ultimate one to deal with subtitles.
THE SOFTWARE
Subtitle Workshop, as the name suggests, is truly a workshop. It's the ultimate solution to subtitle editing. You can add, edit, remove, increase/decrease speed, set offset to selected or all the subtitles. Timings are also taken with full precision.
Setting offset is one of my favorite features. With this you can set all or selected lines (subtitles) to appear selected time earlier or ahead, to get them full compatible with the video.

So before starting to edit, you'll need to download the software, Full & Free Ofcourse.

MAKING + ADDING SUBTITLES
1. Open the software,you would see a screen.
2. Now from the 'video' section, browse the video in which u want to add subtitles n press 'new subtitle' form file menu.
First, type the subtitles that u want to add(only first line) in the last description space.Then central right hand side, copy the time in which u want that particular subtitle or line to start.
Here, the first words of the song are You are a good soldier,For adding this i'll:
First, play the song n pause when these words are just about to be spoken.
Then i'll copy the time from the marking on the picture that is 00:00:00,544
Then i'll paste it in the 'show' box(start time)
Then I'll again play video till i get end of the words "You are a good soldier"
Then I'll again copy the time and paste it in 'hide section'(end time).
After that, I'll continue with next words by again choosing 'new subtitle' from 'file menu'.
NOW JUST REMEMBER THAT YOUR ALL TIMES OF START AND END SHOULD BE DIFFERENT OR NOT COME IN DURATION OF EACH OTHER as it is not possible to have 2 subtitles simultaneously.
4. NOW LET'S START PLAYING THE SUBTITLES!!!!!!!!!
Now to play the subtitles on computer, save your subtitles in .srt format and then copy and paste it in the same place where the video is located and name it using the exact name that video has.
Then, u can view it in a good video player like VLC MEDIA PLAYER.
